This policy explains how Clear Horizon, Inc., doing business as PrintStar ("PrintStar," "we," "us"), collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit printstarnow.com or place an order with us.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact and account details: name, company, email, phone, and billing and shipping addresses.
• Order details: products, options, quantities and order history.
• Files you upload: artwork and documents for printing.
• Messages you send us by email, phone or our contact form.

Payment information. Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, pages visited, links clicked, and how you arrived at our site.
• Cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies, analytics and advertising" below).

How we use your information

• To process, print, ship and support your orders.
• To create and manage your account.
• To respond to your questions and requests.
• To send order and shipping updates.
• To send occasional promotional emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• To understand how our site is used and to improve it.
• To measure and improve our advertising.
• To prevent fraud and protect our site, customers and business.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

Your files and artwork

Files you upload are used only to produce your order. We do not use, publish or share your artwork for any other purpose without your permission. Our staff and production partners access files only as needed to complete your order.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed:

• E-commerce platform and hosting: the provider that runs our website and online ordering system.
• Payment processing: our payment processor.
• Shipping: ShipStation and UPS, to create shipments and deliver your order.
• Production partners: trusted trade printers who produce some non-booklet products and ship them directly to you.
• Email and communication tools: to send order updates and, if you opt in, marketing emails.
• Analytics and advertising partners: described in the next section.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your cart and settings, understand how visitors use the site, and measure our advertising. These include:

• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: how visitors use our site.
• Google Ads: to measure the results of our ads and show our ads to people who have visited our site.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): to measure our ads and show our ads to people who have visited our site.
• Microsoft Clarity: to understand how visitors use our pages, through heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity masks sensitive information such as form entries.

We may also share a hashed (encoded) version of customer email addresses or phone numbers with Google or Meta to show relevant ads or to find similar audiences. These platforms do not send that information back to us.

Your choices

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may not work without them.
• Opt out of Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
• Manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
• Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose.
• Delete personal information we hold about you, with some exceptions.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of "sharing" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (for example, the Meta Pixel and Google Ads remarketing described above). To opt out, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link at the bottom of our site, or email us. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals.
• Not be discriminated against for using these rights.

We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

To make a request, email support@printstarnow.com or call 858.566.2536. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and we respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Residents of other states with similar privacy laws may make the same requests the same way, and we will honor them as those laws require.

How long we keep information

We keep order, account and payment records as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Uploaded print files are kept for a limited time after your order is complete to allow reorders and resolve any issues, then deleted.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limited staff access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children's privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Email marketing

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link in any email. We will still send emails about your orders.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
